Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Trained

It is exciting to add this new tool, EMDR to my therapy toolkit. I completed the training in EMDR, long known as an evidence based, super efficient approach to managing and resolving trauma, traumatic memories and incidents.

I’m excited at how quickly I am seeing patients rebound using EMDR when normally we’d expect to spend many, many sessions managing and processing the same difficult issues.

I do not use EMDR with couples; I expect to add that after some substantial training and experience specifically with couples.
